It’s late July. The work-day is just getting started. My dog, a red Golden Doodle, is curled up behind me. I’m at my desk. Jotting my thoughts on a Kindle Scribe.
A small tinge of panic passes over me. This internal pressure that I need to put down the pen and get back to work.
Writing is work. It helps us think through problems more deeply. It helps us retain what we write down.
So, why do I feel this internal pressure to get back to work?
We need to make time for writing. It might be some of the most important work we do as managers.
I need to get over the feeling.
